Inspired by the tragic life of Dutch painter, Vincent Van Gogh. The title of the work hints at the idea that the longer you look into the darkness, the more light you slowly begin to see.

Musical influences include Anton Bruckner, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Hector Berlioz, Dmitri Shostakovich, Han Zimmer, and Karl Jenkins.
